Our Veterinary Medicine & Animal Care Pre-Apprenticeship Program introduces youth and young adults ages 15-18 the essential skills, knowledge, and career pathways within the animal health and care field. Through hands-on learning, guided instruction, and exposure to real-world veterinary environments, participants explore topics such as animal behavior, basic medical care, nutrition, grooming, and industry safety standards. The program prepares students for advanced training or entry-level opportunities by building foundational competencies, fostering responsibility, and inspiring a passion for animal welfare and veterinary science in partnership with the Philadelphia, SPCA.
