Educators 4 Education (E4E) is looking to hire passionate and experienced individuals for the MIA Jr. high school after-school program to be held at the James Wright and Miles and Mack Recreation Centers. Positions will begin in February for (1) Data Specialist, (2) Program Liaisons, (2) Math Teachers, (2) English Teaches and (2) Substitute Math Teachers, (2) Substitute English Teachers. All candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with youth in an urban education setting. Each site will need one program, two teachers and two substitutes will be hired for each site. The Data Specialist will support both sites.

Mantua

The employer for this program is Educators 4 Education for which you will be a contracted employee once hired. As an E4E contracted employee, you will be required to attend a mandatory orientation. Tutors Needed

Educators 4 Education are in need of caring teachers/tutors to provide one-on-one and small group support. We are seeking center and in-home tutors for all subjects. Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in teaching/tutoring is preferred. Must have availability during afterschool/evening hours or possibly weekends; and work a minimum of 2 -
5 hours per week.

Educators 4 Education (E4E) is looking to hire passionate and experienced individuals for the Keys to Success Intensive Mentoring Program for the following positions: (1) Program Manager and (3) Youth Mentors and (1) Workforces Development Job Coach. All candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with urban (at-risk) youth in the juvenile justice system.

Description of duties is as follows:

Program Manager part-time 20 hours a week: will be responsible for supervision of the full program team as well as recruitment and enrollment of youth, administration of assessments for youth, and facilitating groups and workshops. They will conduct recruitment sessions at partner sites in the respected ZIP Codes and be responsible for following up with youth to ensure completion of the intake packet. They will assign all enrolled participants to an individual intense case manager. Ensure the administration of surveys and assessments and serve as caring adult mentors and maintain the master program calendar and monthly quality assurance check-ins with parents. Collect required program performance measure information and manage program budgets while working closely with the team to meet program goals. Bachelor’s Degree required Master’s degree preferred.

Youth Mentor part-time 20 hours a week: will manager a caseload of 15-17 participants and performs a variety of referral functions related to services for “at risk” adolescence ages 13-19. Work includes performing case management weekly case progress notes, transportation to local activities, assessing client and family needs, developing an appropriate service and/or goal plan, developing group activities, providing on-going counseling and referral services and/or determining appropriate in the best interests of the participant. This work requires significant understanding of urban youth. Daily contact with individuals, their families, representatives of various private and public welfare agencies, representatives of professional and community groups, and the public is of major significance to the work, to provide support and linkages to families of participants struggling with concrete needs. High School diploma required or Equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  
Workforce Development Job Coach part-time 10 hours a week: responsible for participation in job readiness, employment placement and worksite development. This critical position will additionally be acting as a mentor to all participants; providing job-related training; and work experience that matches the skills and interests of the participants. Transport participants to complete job applications. Assists participate in obtaining vital work documents i.e. (work permit, Social Security card, birth certificate and photo ID). Once youth are placed at worksites and begin working, the Workforce Development Job Coach will proactively engage worksite supervisors in conflict resolution and mediation activities as needed to support retention efforts. High School diploma required or Equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  
The employer for this program is Educators 4 Education for which you will be a contracted employee once hired. All candidates must be at minimum 21 years of age. As an E4E contracted employee, you will be required to attend a mandatory orientation and 20 hours of training annually. Preference is given to candidates who have prior experience working with at risk youth.

All E4E employees and contracts must be able to obtain a PA Child Abuse Child Abuse Clearance, PA Criminal Clearance and an FBI Clearance Fingerprint Clearance and have a Valid driver’s license. Transportation of clients is a requirement and applicant must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle. Minimum auto insurance Bodily Injury Liability requirements are $100k per person and $300k per accident.

Work Ready Internship Program (PAID)

Educators 4 Education (E4E) WorkReady is a citywide $11.00 dollar an hour paid internship effort to address the skills gap by convening partners, employers, leaders of youth-serving systems and youth to build a coordinated approach to preparing young people for future employment. WorkReady stakeholders seek to give young people ages 14-24 access to a meaningful paid work experience that promotes self-efficacy, connects youth to caring adults and offers the opportunity to build the transferable skills required to secure and sustain employment. WorkReady is a collaboration between Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) and Educators 4 Education (E4E).



All E4E EMPLOYERS AND CONTRACTORS MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A PA CHILD ABUSE CLEARANCE, PA
CRIMINAL CLEARANCE AND AN FBI FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE.
